Got back from the San Francisco International Gift Show this morning and I'm pretty excited about some new products I'll be loading here in the near future. Here's a brief. I found a couple lines for Women's Wine Apparel so you won't be left out here. A new Bottle openner very nicely packaged, easy to use and will be an eye catcher. And the "The Versovino " wine decanting system, can't wait to really try this out myself ! There's so much more ..........I got to get busy here. Cheers to your good health. Wed, 01 Aug 2007 17:18:43 PDT Stopped by Sycamore Creek this past Friday. Ted (the winemaker), was getting ready to release his 2006 Sauvignon Blanc. Now I'm not a wine expert or anything but I know what I like, and this is a fine bottle of wine Ted has. It has a little lemon flavor to it, at least to me, and maybe a little citrus. I bought 2 bottles. What really surpised me is a 2006 Cabernet Blanc he was getting ready for Saturday. He didn't have an open bottle but being as gracious as he is well.......... It really had a hint of stawberries interestingly, not overly dry at all, more on the sweet side but not like a Muscat, Just really, really nice IMHO. He was telling my wife and I that those grapes are up in a shady part of his vineyard that just doesn't get the full benefit of sun as the rest of his Cab vines do, so they're not as bold if you will. But he still wanted to do something with them. Well, I think he played to the strength of those shadowed grapes and came out with a great "Spa Wine" as my wife would call it. Bought 2 bottles of this too! Now if I can get extra budget a case would be nice. Keep up the good work Ted. Hope you and Tammie liked that Wine-Fi Gift Basket.
